I decided for this week’s playlist to do a mix in honor of it being nearly 11 years(!!!) ago that I graduated from college. All of these gems are from 2003 – 2008.

I know this is actually an old song, but I don’t think I ever really heard it until I went to college. And then I literally heard it EVERYWHERE. Bars, restaurants, someone’s dorm room, etc. – it was always on.
5. Slow Jamz – Twista, Kayne West, & Jamie Foxx
6. Float On – Modest Mouse
7. You – Lloyd & Lil Wayne
I was obsessed with this song & Lloyd! The remix with Outkast is also soooo good!
8. Your Body – Pretty Ricky
It’s really hard to top Pretty Ricky in terms of group name and song lyrics. I mean “hotter than a bisquick biscuit out the oven” ?!?!? Top quality song lyrics right there!! The BEST.
9. About Us – Brooke Hogan & Paul Wall
Remember the good old days of great reality shows on VH1??! I’m talking Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, The Surreal Life, & Hogan Knows Best. On Hogan Knows Best, Brooke was always trying to make it big as a singer and ended up releasing an album. She really was not a great singer, but this song was catchy!
10. Smack That – Akon & Eminem
Akon was living the good life back in the 2000s. Whatever happened to him??!?!
11. Promiscuous – Nelly Furtado & Timbaland

I remember MTV had a dumb show called Once Upon a Prom where celebrities went to prom with, you know, some poor star-struck kid in New Jersey and anyway Bobby Valentino was in an episode and he was waaaay shorter than his prom date! MTV did him wrong! They couldn’t have pick some petite girl for the show?! #rude
