Good Morning!

Today I’m talking about how to dress in springlike colors while staying work appropriate. I wore this look to work yesterday and I loved the mix of fun, bright colors!

Initially over the weekend I put on these mint green pants and thought they would look cute with a bright pink shirt. It was cute for a weekend look, but definitely too much of an ice cream sherbet look for work. To tone down the colors and make it more professional, I added a boyfriend style blazer in a light neutral color and wore neutral colored shoes.  Boyfriend style blazers are perfect for warmer weather because they are typically made of linen, which is a much more breathable fabric. The boyfriend style is also more of a slouchy fit which a casual, summery vibe while still pulling the look together with a polished touch.

My sandals are from Old Navy and I just spoke about them in my Old Navy Super Cash post! They are really comfortable and run TTS – definitely a worthwhile purchase!

I love a white clutch for the warmer weather, but don’t want to spend a lot on it because it’s just going to get dirty. The one I’m wearing in this picture is a few years old from Nordstrom, but I’m linking a couple of similar current options below that are under $30!

Every item that I’m wearing I’ve owned for a while (besides my sandals) so exact items are not available, but I’m linking several similar items in the widget below. Simply click on the image to get more details!

I hope everyone has a great day!
