Good Morning!

I’m back this week with a new playlist!

A couple of weeks ago I ran poll on my Instagram asking which group do you prefer? NSYNC or Backstreet Boys.

I thought it would end up a mostly 50/50 split, but NSYNC was the clear winner! So I feel a little sheepish saying that I think BSB is a better group. *hides*

But with those results in mind, I decided this week to post an all NSYNC playlist!

Which don’t get me wrong, I loved *NSYNC! I saw them in concert and I thought JT was the bomb way before *NSYNC was even a thing – I watched the Mickey Mouse Club and thought he was the hottest! So I’m a definite fan – it’s just that Justin and JC really carried it and without them, I mean, what would the group really have been!? BSB has more talent individually and, in my opinion, is a stronger group. But nonetheless, I present:

Week 33: All *NSYNC

1. Want You Back

2. Tearin’ Up My Heart

3. Giddy Up

4. Crazy For You

5. Bye Bye Bye

6. It’s Gonna Be Me

7. Space Cowboy

8. It Makes Me Ill

9. No Strings Attached

10. Digital Getdown

11. Girlfriend

12. Pop

13. Thinking of You (I Drive Myself Crazy)

14. (God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time On You

15. Everything I Own

16. Sailing

17. This I Promise You

18. Gone

19. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays

I hope you all enjoy! What’s your fav song from this line up? Mine is probably “No Strings Attached” or “Girlfriend” since Nelly is featured and we all know Nelly makes every song 1,000 times better! So much love for Nelly! 😍

Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning!

I’m back today with a new playlist. I took some time off from blogging because my brother-in-law tragically died unexpectedly. It has been a rough week and half since his death, but I’m trying to return to some sort of normalcy and that includes resuming my blog which I love to do.

My little brother-in-law, Jake, was so lovable and fun to be around. I remember when I first started blogging just over year ago, he was one of the first people to tell me that he liked my blog and thought I was doing a great job. He was just always such a positive person and I know he would want me to just keep on going.

Good Morning!

It’s the Monday rise & grind!☀️

To help make your week a little brighter, I’m posting a new playlist! This week’s is comprised of songs from 2015 – today.

Because I’m so stuck in the early 2000s, this was actually a little hard for me to create at first! lol But then I got into a groove and started remembering songs from not so long ago to add. I ended up with 17 songs! I normally just post 12 per playlist, but I couldn’t decide which to cut so I just kept them all! I hope you enjoy 🙂 As always you can check out all of my other playlists on Spotify here.

Week 31 Playlist: 2015 – 2019 Favorites

1. Trap Queen – Fetty Wap

2. Closer – The Chainsmokers, Halsey

3. thank u, next – Ariana Grande

4. Cool – Jonas Brothers

5. 24K Magic – Bruno Mars

6. Love Yourself – Justin Bieber

7. Cake by the Ocean – DNCE

8. Bad At Love – Halsey

Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I’m back to kick off the week with a new playlist! For this week’s, I decided to go with a tribute playlist to one of my all-time favorite artists: Jennifer Lopez!

Like, can you imagine being J.Lo?? She’s beautiful and sings, dances, AND acts AND how is she 50 looking this good?! Since she blew up yet again this week after closing out the Versace fashion show in a replica of her show-stopping jungle dress that really helped make her a household name back in 2000, I decided this week would be fitting for a J.Lo themed playlist.

After she wore that Versace dress back in 2000, I remember seeing that picture of her wearing it at the Grammys a zillion times. Then she started coming out with all of these music hits and really became a pop culture sensation. I would personally like to thank her for inspiring me to wear some knock-off version of a Juicy Couture velour sweatsuit all the time back in 2002 and 2003! Those suits were soooo comfy and I thought soooo cute at the time! (Who am I kidding … I would totally still wear one today!) 😉

So it’s Monday and we all may have to work, but if anything is going to make your day a little brighter, it’s listening to J.Lo’s remixes and these hits I’m listing below! So enjoy!

Week 30 Playlist: J.Lo’s Best

1. On The Floor – Ft. Pitbull

2. Let’s Get Loud

3. Booty Ft. Iggy Azalea

4. Jenny from the Block – Ft. Jadakiss & Styles P

5. Get Right

6. Hold You Down – Ft. Fat Joe

7. I’m Glad

8. All I Have – Ft. LL Cool J

9. Ain’t It Funny – Murder Remix ft. Ja Rule

10. I’m Gonna Be Alright – Ft. Cory Rooney

11. I’m Real – Murder Remix Ft. Ja Rule

12. Love Don’t Cost a Thing

13. I’m Real

14. Play

15. Ain’t It Funny

16. If You Had My Love

17. Waiting for Tonight

It’s clear from this list that J.Lo is amazing! It’s so hard to pick a favorite but I would probably go with “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” because I feel like the music video is 2000s iconic. The added dance break is my fav!  I remember trying to spot which dancer was Cris Judd because she had just married him!

As for movies, could she ever do anything to top her performance in Selena?! It was SO GOOD. I love all her cheesy romantic comedies, too. I know there is a lot of hype over her new movie coming out about strippers, Hustlers. I would say that it doesn’t seem like something I would normally see, but since J.Lo is starring in it, I’m sure I will eventually watch!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Today I’m back with a new playlist and I think this one is soooooo good! It’s all R&B Love Songs from the 90s and 00s and I’m so into it.

I started it because I have been on a total 112 kick for the past few weeks. I heard “Cupid” and I had totally forgotten about that song and how good it is! So I started with “Cupid” and went from there. I don’t know about anyone else, but I always loved Slim from 112 and his whiny-ish voice! I started watching live 112 performances from a million years ago on YouTube and now I’m like I hafta see these people in concert once before I die! Adding to my bucket list immediately!

Anyway – without further ado…

Week 29 Playlist: R&B Love Songs

1. Cupid – 112

2. Crazy – K-Ci & JoJo

3. Let’s Get Married (Remix) – Jagged Edge

4. Incomplete – Sisqo

5. One Wish – Ray J

6. Bed – J. Holiday

7. Slow Down – Bobby V.

8. I Need A Girl – Trey Songz

9. Into You – Fabolous ft. Ashanti

10. Nice & Slow – Usher

11. Water Runs Dry – Boyz II Men

12. Nobody – Keith Sweat ft. Athena Cage

I hope you enjoy as much as me! You can find my other playlists here on Spotify!

Good Morning!

I’ve been creating playlists biweekly now and I think it’s working out a little better because it gives me more time to work on other content to post during the week! I’ve been trying to find a balance between blogging and working so I think it’s helping to cut back a little on the playlists.

For this week’s, I dove back into the 90s because… I can’t help it- I just love that decade! So below are 12 songs from the 90s and it’s definitely a varied mix going through the years.

Week 28 Playlist: More 90s Jams

1. Tom’s Diner – Suzanne Vega & DNA

2. It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over – Lenny Kravitz

3. Just Another Day – Jon Secada

4. Como La Flor – Selena

5. Let Her Cry – Hootie & The Blowfish

6. I Know – Dionne Farris

7. You Learn – Alanis Morissette

8. Always – Bon Jovi

9. Hard To Say I’m Sorry – Az Yet Ft. Peter Cetera

10. If You Could Only See – Tonic

11. We’ve Got It Goin’ On – Backstreet Boys

12. Boom Boom Boom – Vengaboys

My fav song from this set is definitely “Hard To Say I’m Sorry” – I had forgotten how good of song that was!! Needless to say, I’ve played it, like, 100 times this past week so I had to include it in the playlist! 😉

“Como La Flor” is another classic. My best friend was soooo obsessed with Selena and I cannot even tell you how many times I’ve watched that movie and I cry every.single.time. So good, yet so tragic.

Anyway! I hope you have a great day & be sure to check out my Sephora post!

Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a HOT fun-filled weekend! This weather has been bananas.

Anyway, today I’m back with a new playlist and I decided to pay tribute to some of my all-time favorite one-hit wonders from the 90s and 2000s~!

Week 25 Playlist: My Favorite One-Hit Wonders

1. How Bizarre – OMC

2. I Wish – Skee-Lo

3. Baby Got Back – Sir Mix-A-Lot

4. I Got A Man – Positive K

5. Groove Is in the Heart – Deee-Lite

6. Tubthumping – Chumbawamba

7. Your Woman – White Town

8. All The Things She Said – t.A.T.u.

9. Rumors – Lindsay Lohan

11. Who Let The Dogs Out – Baha Men

12. Hit ‘Em Up Style – Blu Cantrell

13. Mambo No. 5 – Lou Bega

14. Teach Me How to Dougie – Cali Swag District

I like all of these songs even though most of them are pretty dumb (re: girl, shake that laffy taffy), but my favorite is probably “I Wish”. It’s so catchy and shoutout to all the short guys out there who wish to be taller! Life is tough when you ain’t that tall as a guy. Women can overlook a lot of things when a guy is over 6 feet, sadly!

Have a great day!
