The Best Items on Sale

Category

Hello All!

The Sephora Spring Savings Event ends tomorrow ! Before it ends, it’s a great time to save some money on makeup, skincare, or haircare!

You simply need to be a Sephora Beauty Insider Member –  (it’s free to sign-up) and you save 10% off your in-store or online purchase with code OMGSPRING.

It’s great to be a member because the more you shop, the more points you earn. As points accumulate, you’ll graduate to higher tiers of the program and save more money during sale events! At this point, I’m at Rouge level so I save 20% off during the sale events, which is awesome.

Now, you may thinking that with COVID here to stay for the foreseeable future who really needs more makeup?  And I fully agree. But in addition to makeup, Sephora has tons of great skincare products and really you always need to be taking care of your skin, no matter what!

So for today’s post, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite products that you can save on during the sale:

1. Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream

Super lightweight, but really moisturizing this cream is one that I always have in my cabinet. It’s perfect for sensitive skin and provides just the right amount of moisture to soothe dry skin!

2. SEPHORA COLLECTION Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation

For $20, you cannot beat the price of this foundation! It’s a fine mist of makeup that helps to cover and conceal any blemishes and even out your skin tone. I’ve tried more expensive brands of airbrush foundation and this one works just as well.

3. Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner

One if the best eyeliners on the market, it’s currently on sale for $18 and is even cheaper when you use code OMGSPRING! Such a great deal and this eyeliner is offered in a large variety of shades. I also often use it on my waterline and have found zero smudging!

4. Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Touch Hand Sanitizer Spray

Who couldn’t use some more hand sanitizer right now?! This spray smells sooo good – it’s like being in a tropical paradise! 🌴

5. SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Foot Mask

Before it’s time to break out the sandals, one of these clean foot masks is definitely needed! These super hydrating foot masks help to soothe dry heels so that your feet are in tip-top shape come summer.☀️

6. Drybar The Single Shot Blow-Dryer Brush

I purchased this blow dryer brush a few months ago and I’m in love! It works so well and makes styling your hair so much easier.

There are a lot of dryer brushes on the market now so if you’ve ever tried one, let me know! I used this Revlon one at first that most people love, but I found that it got way too hot for my hair and was really frying it. This Drybar one doesn’t get as hot and I’ve found it to be easier to use.

7. Slip Reusable Face Mask

The number one product that I would recommend out of all of the products listed is this face mask!!

I own a few of these and now they are typically the only face masks that I wear. $39 might seem pricey for one mask, but oh no, this isn’t just any mask. It’s silk so it’s sooo comfortable and does not ever irritate your skin! They are washing machine friendly and I have put mine in the dryer before, but laying them flat to dry works best as it helps keep the material intact.

Trust me when tell you, you need this mask!

8. KORRES MenoReverse Volumizing Serum-in-Moisturizer

This is my favorite moisturizer that I currently use every day. It feels rich and luxurious and I think it really has made a difference in my skin looking fuller! It’s a little pricey, but I swear it works.

9. LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask

I’ve used this lip sleeping for a couple of years now and it’s the easiest way to moisturize your lips! Simply slather it on your lips before bed and you’ll awake with smoother, softer lips guaranteed! And as an added bonus, all of the flavors smell really good.

I hope everyone has a great day🌸

Good Afternoon!

Today I’m sharing what I recently purchased from the Sephora Spring Savings Event!

Sephora offers a blanket percentage off only twice a year, so I always place a large order to take full advantage!  It’s a tiered percentage off sale that is open to all Beauty Insider Members (which simply means that you just sign up for emails and join their club.)

However, since I’m posting this late in the sale it is now only still open to Rouge and VIB Members. 🙁 If you are a VIB Member (spend $500 at Sephora during the calendar year) you can still save 15% off through tomorrow – 4/29! Or if you are like me and spend way too much money at Sephora ($1,000 in a calendar year), Rouge members save 20% off until 5/1!

So even though it’s late in the sale, I figured it’s still always fun to see what people order plus I plan on posting some product reviews of what I ordered and tried later on. Everything in the collage I ordered with the exception of the eye shadow. I ordered a Bobbi Brown smoky eye shadow palette from Macy’s a few weeks ago that was on major sale  and I thought Sephora had the same one. They don’t, but this nude one that I’m linking has gorgeous colors and looks so versatile!

1 Kerastase Densifique Bodifying Shampoo

2 Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream

3 HUM Red Carpet Softgels Dietary Supplement

4 Bobbi Brown Nude Eyeshadow Palette

5 Korres Volumizing Serum-in-Moisturizer

6 Sephora Airbrush Foundation

7 Kerastase Blow Dry Primer

8 Olehenriksen Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum

I mostly ordered either hair or skincare products simply because I’m barely even touching my makeup these days! All I look at is my bare skin and think about how to improve it’s texture and minimize my wrinkles and sunspots! Additionally, I’m always looking for new hair products to thicken my hair and add volume so I ordered a few of those as well!

Also this is not pictured in the collage, but I reordered my favorite sunscreen which is Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector Cream SPF 50+. This sunscreen works SO well! I mean I don’t even get a hint of a tan with this stuff on. Which is what I want for my face these days. It’s so crazy when I think about how much I used to kill my skin with tanning and endless hours at the beach, but hey, that’s youth for ya! 🥴

Everything else is a new product for me besides the bum bum cream and the foundation. Since trying Bum bum cream out a year ago, it has become one of my all-time favorite products ever! It really works at minimizing cellulite and smells SO GOOD. Sephora airbrush foundation is also a quality product, especially for the price. You simply do a quick spray on your face and then blend with a foundation brush. I always order the honey shade because it adds a lovely bronze color to my washed out face!

That’s all I’ve got for today! Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products and what you bought from the sale in the comments!

xx

Hi All!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend thus far! I have been trying to comb through the Sephora website for the past few days adding to my Christmas list and saving so many items to my loves list on their site because their big VIB sale of the holiday season is going on!! ♥ From now through Monday, 11/12 get 20% off your purchase with code VIBBONUS if you are VIB status in Sephora’s loyalty program, which is just based on how much you spend per calendar year. Since I’m VIB I am ordering this weekend and rounding up my top wants and favorite items today! Next weekend (11/16 – 11/19) the sale is open to all Beauty Insiders and everyone will receive 15% off their purchase, you just need to sign up for the program. The code for the 15% off is BIBBONUS.

Below are the details from my collage which details all of my dream products. Some I do plan on ordering this time around and most of them are on Christmas list as well! I definitely don’t consider myself to be a makeup guru, but I do enjoy it and figured I would share my favorites! The prices I am listing are before the discount!

1. Tory Burch Signature Set $132.00

I received a sample of this scent in the mail along with a bunch of others and this one was my favorite. It smells heavenly! The notecard it came with says it smells like Neroli, Grapefruit, and Cassis. I honestly I have no idea what the heck Neroli and Cassis are. lol. BUT I can tell you that I do smell some grapefruit and apparently I like the smell of those other two things too! Additionally, this gift set packaging is so pretty and why not get the gift set with a lotion and rollerball perfume?!

2. Natasha Denona Camel Eyeshadow Palette $48.00

One makeup item I really, really love is eye shadow. I think it really makes a huge difference on my face, maybe because I have big eyes?! In any case, I am always looking for new eye shadows to try out and this palette has great reviews. All of these colors look totally up my alley and I can’t wait to try them out!

3. Clarsonic Powerless Skin Holiday Gift Set: Mia Smart x Kiehl’s $199.00

I feel sooooo behind saying this…but I don’t own a Clarsonic! I’ve wanted one for years but I never really bothered to get one because I didn’t really feel the need. My skin has always been pretty clear so I figured my regular Neutrogena face wash using my hands worked just fine. But, as I get older I want to take care of my skin more and they keep on getting so high tech with these tools! The fact that you can use an app with this and watch the different treatment tutorials is a definite plus for me. I also love Kiehl’s so any time I can get their products at a discount is a win!

4. Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Hydra-Gel Eye Patches $75.00

I’ve wanted to try these eye patches for sooooooooo long! I just can’t really justify the price, but perhaps at 20% off I can. I swear I have THE WORST dark circles under my eyes. Overall, I like my Lancome concealer but I still feel like I need to reapply it at least once or twice day. I have tried so many concealers over the years and I like this one the best minus the reapplying. However, if I could find a way to magically get rid of these dark circles or lessen them so that I didn’t have to go bananas with my concealer I would be so happy! Enter in these eye patches – are these my saving grace?! I think I need to find out!

5. Sephora Favorites Best Hair Ever $25.00

One thing I really looove about Christmas are all of the holiday gift sets that come out. Sephora comes out with a bunch of them every year. I try them every so often and this one caught my eye initially because of the price. Only $25.00 for 8 different products!? I know they are trial size but that still seems like a decent value to try out a bunch of higher end products. I’ve been wanting to try the Christophe Robin Cleansing Scrub especially I am definitely getting this! Plus, I think this makes a great gift!

6. Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer $29.50

I own this in a small travel size that came in a set with a Diorshow mascara and I really love it. I first apply this, wait about 20 seconds, then curl my eyelashes, and then apply my regular mascara. I think this primer does make a difference in the amount of length and curl that I get in my lashes and I would definitely purchase the full size.

7. Marc Jacobs Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation SPF 25 $46.00

I received a deluxe sample of this foundation a couple of months ago and I loved it. I felt like it had a great consistency and went on super smooth and blended so easily into my skin. I already use either my Sephora Airbrush foundation or my MAC one so I didn’t really need another, but with the promotion going on this would be a good buy.

8. Creme De La Mer Moisturizing Cream $85.00

I spoke about this cream on my very first post which was about what I ordered from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They offered this cream along with an eye cream in the sale and I purchased it and fell in love. It’s super hydrating and makes your skin so smooth and smells so good! My mom will think this price is outrageous if I add it to my Christmas list, but half the fun is hearing her reaction to all my wants! 😉

9. Tatcha The Water Cream $68.00

This is a product that I really would love to try. Last year I tried a similar product – Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb – and I really liked it. I used it over the summer and I felt like it was a great, lightweight moisturizer for hot, summer days. The Tatcha one sounds a little similar but also claims to be anti-aging and skin-improving which are two things I’m into.

Also, there are some other really good gift sets that I am eyeing! The Drunk Elephant Night Kit  and Peter Thomas Roth Mask Frenzy, are both on my loves list. I’m hoping that either this La Mer or Kiehl’s gift set comes back in stock as well, but I’m sure that it won’t until after the sale. 🙁 Plus they have tons of other smaller (re: cheaper) gift sets that are perfect for Secret Santa and Yankee Swaps. This owl sponge gift set is so cute and everyone loves to try face masks!

That’s all for now – hope everyone has a great day and shops Sephora for all these great deals!
