Happy Valentine’s Day!! It’s been a little bit of a hectic week, but today I am back and talking about cake pops, which I made as a sweet treat for V-Day this year!♥
I know you may be thinking, “Cake pops?! Those are soooo 2011.” And I totally agree! To be honest back in 2011, I thought cake pops were a pretty dumb trend. I didn’t understand why anyone wouldn’t just eat a delicious piece of cake like normal?! Remember how they even made cake pop machines and they were everywhere?! It was a new level of baking craziness that I was never really on board with.
It’s Sunday night and I am back to post this week’s playlist! Since I really hardly ever post mushy, cheesy songs and in honor of Valentine’s Day being this week, I decided for this playlist to be chock full of some of my favorite sappiest songs. And It’s a little boy band heavy because they really come out with some of the best slow songs!

I hope this little playlist made you feel the love! I mean is there any song more cheesy and mushy than Truly Madly Deeply?!?! I think NOT. And a few songs totally took me back to 7th grade dances (Lee Ann Rimes does like no other!) but if you know me, then you know that I think 7th grade rocked, so I love it!
Since Valentine’s Day is only a little more than a week away I wanted to share my favorite V*day themed items! Some are cheap and some not so cheap, but I like to showcase a wide price range of items. I also love to wear red or pink and look festive on the days leading up to Valentine’s Day (because I’m cheesy like that) and I just think it’s fun!
