Now that it is officially summer, it’s time to head to the beach (or pool!) One of my favorite hobbies is going to the beach & I’m hoping to go this Friday for the first time this season to work on my tan! So for today’s post, I decided to go over a couple of different beach looks.
The dilemma that I usually have when going to the beach is whether to go more glam or sporty. I love both looks, but I usually show up to the beach looking sporty. To me it’s just easier, but I LOVE a good glam look at the beach and appreciate the effort that goes into looking that way!

I love these beaded sandals, but the price is a little steep! Target has these slide sandals for only $19.99 and the metallic gold one is definitely a glam looking sandal!
Also, every beachgoer needs a cover up! I needed a new one this year and was just looking for a simple black one to throw on. I found this one at Target for $17.99 and love it! Since it’s a junior’s item, I went up a size and purchased a medium.
Sporty Look:

The striped bikini in the collage I purchased a few months ago and it’s still in stock. 🙂 I think I bought three new swimsuits this summer and all were from Target! The selection is so affordable and cute!
The Adidas baseball hat is on sale for $13! Now that I’m old, I have to wear a hat at the beach! I also love Vineyard Vines baseball hats because the little whale is adorable.
For a sporty style cover up, I love this one from Nordstrom! It also comes in bright orange & black.
Target also has this striped cover up with a hood for less than $20!
I also found this really cute pom pom tote that I think could work with both looks! And it’s under $30!
Lastly, don’t forget your sunscreen! My favorite for my face is this Shiseido one. It might leave a slight white residue, but it works really well! I promise if you apply properly you will definitely not burn (or even really tan) with this stuff on your face!
