Happy Friday!

The holidays are in full swing which means lots of fun attire featuring plaids, patterns, & sequins! I wear a ton of plaid around this time of the year and today I am sharing how to wear a festive plaid tunic from day to night. This time of year there are so many work events and parties and often there is not enough time to do a full outfit change from work clothes to party clothes. So today I am also showing how a few quick changes to your outfit can take you from the office to the party easily!

Office Ready!

Daytime Outfit Details:

Plaid Tunic / Jeggings / Blazer (old) similar here / Tote also love this one / Boots

My plaid top is from Old Navy and I love it because it is tunic length and doesn’t have the traditional collar, making it a little more versatile. It is still fully in stock and is currently 20% off, making it only $20!

I’m wearing boots because if I’m going straight to a holiday party then I’m definitely NOT wearing heels all day long or I’m going to be cranky! I’m wearing my Steve Madden Intyce boots which have a small wedge heel and are so comfy!

The black wool blazer I’m wearing is from J.Crew and their blazers always make any outfit work appropriate. I purchased this a few years ago and it continues to be a winter staple in my wardrobe. A little pricey, but worth it!

Off to the Party!

Nighttime Outfit Details:

Plaid Tunic  / Faux Leather Leggings / Faux Fur Vest (old) similar here and here / Shoes (sold out) similar here and here / Pouch (sold out) similar here and here for only $12

I dressed up this plaid tunic for a holiday evening party by swapping out my jeans for faux leather leggings and sparkly accessories. The faux fur vest also adds an element of glam that I love!

These leggings are great! A little pricey but they really do look like leather and look dressy! However, since they are leggings and made by Spanx they suck you in and are actually super comfortable! The first time I tried them on though, I totally felt like a sausage. But I wore them around the house which helped to stretch them out a bit and now they are perfect!

Sparkly accessories spruce up any outfit. The heels were only $17 at Old Navy during Cyber Monday so unfortunately they sold out really quickly, but I’ve linked a few other styles that are similar. The pouch is also from Old Navy and was $10! I love it because you can have it in a big tote bag all day for work but then just carry this at night. This exact one is sold out, but I found a really cute one from Madewell that is very similar and Old Navy does still have a small glitter camera bag on sale that is really cute as well (both are linked above!) I also added a statement necklace to this look for an extra touch of glam!

My faux fur vest is from a few years ago and is one of my favorite things to throw on over an outfit to take it up a notch. It’s cozy and as an added bonus everyone always wants to pet you! haha.

Do you have a work holiday party coming up? I just had mine last night and basically wore this outfit! I just swapped out this plaid shirt for a slightly darker plaid!

I hope everyone has a great day!
