These slippers only come out to $15!! I always like a pair of these so my feet can breathe but still stay cozy.
This festive little number is perfect for holiday parties!
I have been eyeing this leopard sweater for months. It is cropped and I don’t always like that look on myself because I have a longer torso for my height. I ran into this issue last winter and I ended up ordering a Gap cropped sweater in a Tall size and I loved both the length and sleeve length – since if it’s 3/4 it ends up being longer in the taller length! Win-Win!
A bunch of items are also still available from my last post on Gap Favorites. You can view them here.
Happy Shopping!!!!

Good Morning!!
It’s the start of Labor Day weekend and you know what that means….REALLY good sales at all of your favorite retailers!!! 🙂
So to kick the weekend off right, today I’m sharing five of the best Labor Day sales and some of my top picks from each!
Hi All & Happy Friday!
I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those people who gets 8,000 emails a day and lately I’ve been getting a lot of emails about Fall. Fall merchandise is already in stores and Dunkin’ already has pumpkin coffee out in certain stores! It’s kind of crazy, but that’s reality in the retail world. And while I’m not quite ready yet for summer to end, I do love Fall and I am looking forward to wearing all of my Fall clothing & accessories!
So with that being said, I’m using today’s edition of Friday Finds to showcase five new items out this Fall that I’ve got my eye on!
Good Morning!
I had the best Saturday ever last weekend! I managed to get over to Nordstrom on only the second day of the Anniversary Sale AND I was there for roughly 4 or 5 hours browsing and trying on shoes & clothes!! AND then I hit up the Nordstrom café for a fancy frozen coffee drink AND THEN I stopped at Chick-fil-A on the ride home because I had really worked up an appetite from all that shopping!! lol
It was basically the greatest day ever!
So with that being said, of course I took a bunch of fitting room selfies to share and go over what I found to be some hits and misses of the sale!
Good Morning!
Today I am sharing a few beauty product and clothing reviews! I try out new items fairly often and thought it would be fun to share some that I’ve been happy with and some that you should not waste your time or money trying!
So let’s get into it, shall we?!
Hi All!
Americana is one of my all-time favorite words. I think I first heard it as a Jeopardy! category many, many, many years ago and I thought it was such a funny word. I feel like it sounds pretentious even though, in general, I feel like America is the opposite. When I think of America the first thing I think of is rednecks, followed closely by George Washington. lol
In any event, I use the word “Americana” a lot and today I’m using it to describe my Friday Finds!
I know everyone is super excited about the kickoff of summer, so today I’m sharing a few patriotic looking finds and some of my favorite items currently on sale!
I’m realllyyyyy into looking patriotic during Americana season – which to me, runs from Memorial Day through 4th of July. It’s look patriotic time and that means any red, white, and blue outfits are welcomed! In addition to supporting your country, it’s a great color combo! It’s also REALLY EASY to dress in these colors since they are pretty basic and anyone can pull them off!
The most basic Americana uniform is jean shorts, a white top and a splash of red somewhere. I think any amount of effort to look patriotic is great and should be celebrated!
Below are links to the items in the collage to help inspire you look your most Americana self!
Bp. Linen Blend Camisole Top – Breathable material and the buttons front look is really on trend this summer. On sale for $19.98!
High Rise Cuffed Denim Shorts – These are by Madewell and are currently 20% off! I actually ordered these, but ultimately returned because I didn’t love that the cuff isn’t sewn permanently into the shorts. But you may like that and the fact that they can be rolled or not. I can attest that they run true to size and I felt that they were a great denim wash for the summer.
Women’s Havaianas Slim Usa Flip Flop – Everyone needs a pair of Havaianas. The most comfortable flip flop I’ve ever owned and the little American flag on them is adorable.
2 Person Loveseat – How cute is this lawn chair loveseat?! It’s only $35! They also offer a single person one for $15 here!
Striped Tote Bags – A slightly patriotic look for your canvas tote bag! This camera bag is also really cute with the red, white & blue strap!
Star Lounge Tee – It’s fun to sometimes add a splash more Americana fashion to your life and wear a star tee!
Bikini – I actually kind of loathe the quintessential 4th of July bikini seen here. It’s just a tad extra and overdone for me. However, I am all for this one from Target that has some cute patriotic color blocking in the top. The matching bottoms are high rise and are almost sold out so I’m linking a red bottom that could also be worn. In my experience, Target swimsuits run kind of small so I would size up!

This leopard print sweatshirt is only $31.99!
This wrap top is only $19.99! A little dark, but I’m wearing it here:
I own this rugby shirt and it’s a great classic top – especially for under $15.
A few other really good sales I’m hoping to shop!

Gap – 40% off everything with code READY. Plus and extra 10% off with code COOL

Good Morning!!
It’s Friday y’all and today I am back with my latest edition of Friday Finds! There are tons, and I mean TONS, of good sales going on right now! I am sharing a few finds from some sales below and I am linking a few other sales at the bottom of the post!
Hi All!
So I just wanted to do a quick post about H&M. When I lived and worked in Boston I would shop at the huge H&M at Downtown Crossing all the time. It was such a good place for work clothes at low prices! I also got some great deals on coats and shoes too!
I initially went over to their website looking for cute winter coats at reasonable prices. I quickly discovered that not only did they have several great looking coats at cheap prices BUT they also had tons of other good stuff too! I placed an order and received a few items yesterday that I LOVE. I only placed this order last week, but a lot of items seem to be selling out quickly so I wanted to do a post about them before they are all gone!
I rarely set foot inside a mall because online shopping is so gosh darn convenient. I really should have in this case because H&M is the type of store that you usually need to try on the clothing or see it in person to know if you really like it or not, because the pictures can be deceiving. However, their website offers free shipping over $40 and since my cart was over that amount, I decided to order and return in store if I need to. I was unsure of sizing so I ordered multiple sizes in a couple of items. Good thing too, because a few days later I received an email from a customer service rep alerting me that they had some sort of warehouse glitch and that I may receive some incorrect sizes in my order. 🙁 To make up for the inconvenience, they did email a 15% off code with free shipping no minimum. Which I just used to order a couple of more items!
And now onto my findings!
First, a little back story. Let’s back up to July when all of blog land was abuzz with the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. One item I was DYING to get my hands on during the sale were these simple looking camisoles by BP., which is a Nordstrom exclusive brand. Sadly, they sold out pretty much immediately and never came back in stock. I eventually tracked one down in a not so pretty pink color but I returned it because I really hated the color on myself. They do still have it in a couple of prints on major sale now – you can view them here. They never came back in stock in basic colors and I have been trying ever since then to find a similar item at a reasonable price. I never could quite find the same thing until NOW at H&M!
Here it is!
Satin & Lace Camisole Top $19.99
You would think a lace trim camisole would be an easy item to find. But no, somehow it wasn’t. That’s why I was so happy to find these at H&M. In leopard print, too! Plus, it is even a couple of dollars cheaper than when the Nordstrom one was on sale. I ordered this is in leopard and in a couple of different sizes. Out of the ones I tried, the size 4 fit me the best. It is meant to be a looser fit and the straps are adjustable. I placed my second order for it in black and white yesterday! It is also available in a few other different colors and prints.
Obviously not great picture quality – me in my closet! But here is the leopard cami on. The material is satin and lace so it looks a little more polished than your average cami. It’s perfect for work underneath a cardigan and great for going out for drinks too!
The second item I ordered was this Plaid Blazer. I had been wanting a plaid blazer and was eyeing a few at J.Crew (like this one) but they are so expensive. I know I will only wear it a few times so I don’t really want to dish out a ton of money on it. Enter H&M and this great little item which is so so similar to the J.Crew blazer!
The Straight Cut Jacket in Cream/Black Checkered $34.99
I ordered the one of the left which is a black and white checkered pattern with a little burnt orange color mixed in. It’s really the perfect fall blazer and at such a great price! I ordered this in a 4, but the customer service email was correct, because I received a 2. It fits, but I would probably prefer a 4, because is a little tight across my back. I am normally a 6 at H&M, but I ordered down a size because I could tell this was a relaxed fit and I wanted it to be a little more tailored. A few of the sizes are sold out, but all of the sizes are available in the one on the right which is a classic black and white plaid pattern. It’s also available in a a bunch of solid colors.
Me in my closet again and up close to see the pattern better.
The last item I ordered is this leopard blouse! I’m sure you know by now how much I love leopard print and this wrap blouse caught my eye. I ordered it in a 4 and it’s the perfect fit. A 6 would definitely fit but it would be a little too big in the chest. This is a wrap style, but it’s also sewn together at the other side, so I can’t wrap it tighter to fix any gaps in the chest area.
Wrap-front Tie-belt Blouse $49.99
It’s a little on the pricey side for H&M, but the material and quality seem really good and it’s nice to own a dressier style blouse in such a fun print! MeOW
The only other color it comes in is blue which is too bad. I think black would be a nice option, but no such luck.
I mentioned earlier that I initially went on their website looking for coats and they have some really cute ones! I love this pile-lined parka and padded parka! The pile lined one is only $59.99 and looks so cozy and warm. I used to buy coats from them frequently and they always lasted a few seasons. I definitely feel that they offer good quality items, especially for how low their prices are.
That’s all for today! Hope you enjoyed my findings and check out H&M! Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
