Hi All,
Since Tuesday is the last day of the Sephora VIB sale I wanted to type up a little post!
I’m listing 5 items that I really love and 5 items that I would love to try! So let’s first get into the ones that I already own and why I love them.
My Top 5 Items
1. Benefit Hoola Bronzer $30
I’ve used tons of bronzers over the years but I always end up going back to this one. And now it even comes in a few different shades so that you can be either a tad tan or a lot tan!
2. Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Lounge $20
I received this eyeshadow a couple of years ago in a Sephora Favorites gift set and it quickly became one of my all-time favorite eyeshadows. It’s perfect for achieving that smokey eye look. I use a little bit in my crease and a little goes a long way because it’s super pigmented. It’s green, but when applied to your eyelid looks like a dark grey with green undertones. It blends easily and is long-lasting!
3. Kevyn Aucoin Neo-Blush $38
I ordered this back in May and it’s probably the best product that I’ve ordered this year. What I really like about this blush is that you can change up the color applied since this is an ombré colored palette. I own the Sunset color and I typically apply the darker side first and then highlight a little with the lighter color. It also comes in four different shades so I’m certain there is one that looks good on every skin tone!
4. Fenty Beauty Flyliner Eyeliner $20
This eyeliner was featured in the Sephora Favorites Eye Candy Set and out of the 4-5 eyeliners in that set, this one is the best. It is easy to apply, a deep black color and lasts all day with no smudging. The next time you need a new liquid liner, try this one out!
5. YSL Touche Eclat All-Over Brightening Pen $35
I’ve used this as undereye concealer for the past few years as I typically alternate between this and Lancome’s complete concealer. What I really like about this product is that you first apply it under your eyes and let it bake into your skin for a few minutes before completely blending in with your finger. This product literally does soak into your skin and it makes blending a snap! And Sephora doesn’t have it, but Nordstrom.com has a really helpful shade finder.
My Top 5 Wants
1. IT Cosmetics Lash Blowout Mascara $25
I’m always on the hunt for a new good mascara and this one came out recently. I like a lot of IT Cosmetics products so I am interested in seeing how good this mascara is!
2. Drunk Elephant Vitamin C Serum $80
I’ve used this Drunk Elephant night serum and I thought it helped my skin look slightly more youthful. I don’t currently use a daytime serum, but if I was going to this would be the one I would try.
3. Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask $42
This product has nearly all five-star reviews! I use this Estée Lauder eye cream at night, but I’m thinking this retinol based one could be much better for diminishing my dark circles.
4. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask $20
Before bed, I always apply a thick layer of vaseline to my lips which really helps to keep chapped lips at bay. But since I like trying new products and this lip sleeping mask has great reviews, why not try it out!?
5. Kevyn Aucoin Foundation Balm $52
I’m totally intrigued by this foundation balm and since I’ve had such good luck with Kevyn Aucoin’s blush, I’m totally ready to try this product. However, like a lot of other products that I’ve wanted to purchase during this sale – most shades are currently unavailable. 🙁 Total bummer – hopefully I can snag this during the next sale!
Will you be shopping the VIB sale?! Sephora holds these a few times a year and I typically only buy during these sales, so this is a great time to stock up!
And also don’t forget to check out my latest playlist that I posted earlier today – it’s all 90s!
xo
