I hope everyone is super excited that today is Friday, July 12, because today starts THE best sale of the year: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
Today marks the opening of the sale for early access members, which means that you need to be a Nordstrom debit or credit card holder in order to shop the sale. This card is free to sign up for and honestly you can just use the card once a year to get early access and it is totally worth it! You can click here to sign up!
The sale runs for over three weeks so there is plenty of time to shop, but the good stuff goes really quickly so it’s super important to have a Nordstrom card in order to get early access! For one week the sale is only open to card holders – this year that starts today through 7/18. From 7/19 – 8/4, the sale is public access, meaning any one can shop it regardless of card status!
What makes this sale so great is that it is run backwards. It’s all brand new fall merchandise marked down and then after the sale is over gets marked back up to full price. It’s fun to get a jump start on your fall/winter wardrobe AND they have tons of great products on sale in their beauty and home departments that use year round!
You cannot purchase any sale merchandise on their website until the sale officially launches at 12:30pm unless you have Icon or Ambassador card status, meaning that you spend A LOT of money at Nordstrom using their debit or credit card each year!
However, I have browsed their catalog for the sale and have read enough websites and blogs to get a preview of a bunch of the sale items. Today I am sharing a few of my favorite items that I’m seen thus far! I like to use this sale to stock up on some basic items like camis and socks but I also like to get a few higher-end pieces on sale that I don’t normally buy.

Did any of these products catch your eye?? My favorites out of this group are the leopard cardigan and the loafers. I have a similar long leopard print cardigan, but it is getting ratty looking and I’ve been thinking about getting rid of it! I’m so happy that the Steve Madden feather loafers are part of the sale!! It looks like the sale version is a studded pair which is super cute!
