Happy New Year All!
Hard to believe that it is 2019! I feel like 2000 wasn’t that long ago. I’m getting to this age where the years are really starting to blend together and I don’t like it at all! 🙁
Anyway since I can’t fight time, I figured I would dive right into the new year by doing an outfit post of what I wore over the weekend. It was soooo balmy out – close to 55° or 60° and it was so nice in the sun! The tee I’m wearing I got for Christmas and it’s from Old Navy and I think it’s a top notch tee from ON! Shirts from there can definitely be hit or miss. Most of the time they are so cheap that you aren’t sure if they are going to pill after one wear or not. I’ve worn this shirt at least three times since receiving it and it has still held it’s shape, no pills in sight, and is an all around good fit! I’m wearing a size small and it is perfectly fitted. I tucked it in the front in these pics because I had a belt on, but it features a curved hemline which is perfect for a casual athleisure look with leggings!
Outfit Details:
Black Tee (On Sale for $16!)/ Sweater / Jeggings / Sneakers / Bag / Belt / Sunglasses /
My bag is the Harper Mini Satchel from J.Crew. The one I’m wearing in these pictures is in a tartan print which they had out the holidays. I purchased it bright and early on Cyber Monday because I figured it would sell out and sure enough, it did! However, this bag comes in a ton of different colors including leopard and this pretty colored red one is currently 60% off (thru 1/2) which makes it less than $60! It’s really such a cute bag and can be either hand carried or worn as a crossbody, as the strap is removable. I’ve gotten tons of compliments on it and you can get it monogrammed!
My sweater blazer is the same style that I featured in this post in red. (The red one is actually on sale now for under $50!) I own this in 3 different colors because it is so versatile. It could easily look dressy, but on the day these pics were taken I paired it with red Converse sneakers for a casual weekend look. I think I also own 3 pairs of these classic Chuck Taylor sneakers – they are fairly inexpensive and just a great shoe to have! I like wearing the red ones for a pop of color!
Everything else I’m wearing I have linked before in previous posts. They are closet staples of mine that I wear again and again and would highly recommend!
Hope everyone has a great rest of this short work week! Feel free to comment below if you have any questions or just want to say hi!
