I know we are really in the thick of the summer these days and I’m happy about that, but today I am talking a little bit about Fall footwear!
While the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still going on through Sunday, it is definitely winding down or at least the hype over it is! The best part is that most of my online orders have arrived! So today I am reviewing four different shoes that I ordered or tried during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.
Unfortunately, some of these shoes are sold out currently on the Nordstrom website or are in stock in very limited sizes, but if you keep checking back (especially after the sale) the inventory will keep increasing as returns are received and a lot of times these same shoes go back on sale during the Fall season. Also, you might be able to find these shoes at other retailers! I found the sneakers at multiple websites in stock and I am sharing those links below!
Today I am back rounding up my Top Ten Favorite Items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (that are still in stock in almost all sizes!) This was no easy feat as A LOT of items are sold out or are only available in some obscure size.
Some people may be a bit sick of the sale, but I’m not! There is still plenty of good merchandise left, so let’s get into it!

I had the best Saturday ever last weekend! I managed to get over to Nordstrom on only the second day of the Anniversary Sale AND I was there for roughly 4 or 5 hours browsing and trying on shoes & clothes!! AND then I hit up the Nordstrom café for a fancy frozen coffee drink AND THEN I stopped at Chick-fil-A on the ride home because I had really worked up an appetite from all that shopping!! lol
It was basically the greatest day ever!
So with that being said, of course I took a bunch of fitting room selfies to share and go over what I found to be some hits and misses of the sale!

We got a little mini snowstorm here today and it inspired me to browse for snow boots because I figured there are probably a lot on sale now that we are nearing the end of the winter season. This is a great time of the year to get really good deals and stock up on winter shoes and apparel!
It’s super cash redemption time at Gap and I’ve got $120 in cash to redeem by tomorrow, 2/25! I’m not certain that I will actually spend that much money to use it all up, but I have been perusing the website and adding tons of stuff to my cart. I’m currently up to a cart total of a mere $590! Oops. I guess I will have to get that down quite a bit, but my point is that they have a lot of great stuff out right now, especially for transitioning into the spring season! I love dresses like this because I feel that overall they are really flattering to most body types. Plus, a fit & flare style dress like this in navy blue is a safe bet to wear anywhere. Whether it’s a wedding, baby shower, work event, meeting, etc., navy blue is always a good color choice and I think this dress is a winner. I like the other colors that it is offered in, but I don’t love the horizontal seam line on this dress and I think it’s too noticeable in the lighter colors.
I’m basically in love with most jackets and blazers sort of fall into that same category. I just feel that adding a jacket or blazer adds SO MUCH to any outfit and I’m always really into it! Since I’m a total sucker for almost any plaid, I’m definitely loving this blazer. I think it’s great for work or for going out on the weekends with ripped jeans, a white tee, & heels.
Gap makes some of my most favorite jeans. In my opinion, they offer great fits and washes at pretty affordable prices. I’ve been searching for a new pair of darker denim skinny jeans and these just might fit the bill.
How cute are these?! I’m majorly lusting! So perfect and probably very comfortable!

Every woman needs a classic utility jacket for the spring season. It’s the perfect little jacket for those still chilly evenings and works with nearly every outfit!
I added these shoes because they are such a good deal at only $39.99! I have a similar pair last year from Gap in a lighter color and they very comfortable and perfect for slightly dressing up any outfit.
A white denim jacket is so versatile, especially in the spring and summer months! I had a really similar one from J.Crew that I only just threw out a few weeks ago. I had owned it since 2005 and I felt that I could not get this slight dingy look out of it anymore, no matter how many times I bleached it – it had lived a good life and was ready for the trash. Which means that it’s now time for a brand new one!! Yay! 🙂

I have not yet tried any jeans from Gap with these secret smoothing pockets that they are touting, but I’m very interesting in trying. I love the hem on these and the casual vibe it brings.
I put the black color of this sweater in my collage but I actually really looooove this duster in the oatmeal color. I just couldn’t find a stock pic showing it alone and not on the model. However, the model totally sold me on this sweater, I think she looks so cute and I want to wear this exact outfit of all white with this duster! Except I feel like where would I wear this exact ensemble?? Maybe a restaurant in the summer if they had the A/C on full blast. Regardless, I love this and think it would be perfect for throwing on in the office or anywhere else!

I don’t usually post too much on the weekends, but this weekend is your final chance to redeem Old Navy Super Cash, so I wanted to do a little roundup of the best stuff from their website!
To be honest, I’m actually fairly disappointed in their springtime rollout thus far. It is really zzzzzzzzz. Yawn, so boring! There is probably still a couple of weeks before they release the rest of their spring line, so hopefully they get some cuter, more vibrant spring/summer looking items! It is, however, a good time to stock up on basics and there are a couple of new pieces that I will be using my super cash on! So let’s get into it! 1 Tunic Sweatshirt – Items like this are what I’m referring to when I say boring, but it is a good basic to own! I think the olive green and oatmeal are the best colors.
2. Striped Swimsuit Top – I love the top of this bathing suit. I’m not super into the bottoms, but they also have them in a regular bikini bottom style here.
4. NBA Sweatshirt – Let’s go C’s! I love a good sportswear fleece lined sweatshirt.
5. Striped Sleeved Hoodie – The pop of colorful stripes on the sleeve gives this casual hoodie an updated, springtime feel!
6. Luxe Tee – I own several of these tees and they are super comfortable with a relaxed fit and the material is so soft!
7. Grey Joggers – This is my favorite style jogger that they currently have out. I’m hoping more sizes come back in stock.
8. Raw Edge Jeans – Lighter wash jeans are perfect for warmer weather and I really like this updated style with the raw edge.
9. Black Leggings – Old Navy has made it so easy to pick out leggings by breaking them down into different categories. These fall under “street leggings” which I take to mean everyday wear, not just for working out. The reviews are really good and I’m thinking of purchasing!
10. White Jeans – These are already in my cart! I feel like I need a new pair of white jeans every year because no matter how many times I bleach them, after a while they just start looking dingy and it’s time trash them. I love the button fly style too!
11. Black Joggers – I own these sweater joggers in 3 different colors and they are definitely a favorite of mine! Super comfortable.
12. Black Dress – This black, jersey dress is one of the best things ever to come out of ON. This dress is so great for so many reasons. 1. You can wear a regular bra with this dress. 2. It’s super lightweight since it’s jersey material, making it perfect for hot summer days when you HAVE to wear a dress for some occasion. 3. It’s a flowy, swing style which makes it quite forgiving in the waist, so that you are not concerned with overeating at dinner, a wedding, etc. No one will even notice your post dinner pot belly! 😉 4. They usually offer it in a few different colors, but I typically stick with basic black because it’s easy to dress up or down depending on what shoes and accessories you pair with it. If you get one thing from ON in the next few weeks or months, make it this dress. I don’t think you will regret it!
