Hi All!

Happy Friday! Even when it is a short work week, it’s always nice once Friday rolls around!

For today’s Friday Finds, I am posting a bunch of cute sneakers for springtime! I am also posting this because I actually need new sneakers and was researching pairs for myself! I asked for sneakers for Christmas and didn’t get them, so I’m well overdue for a new pair. I try to workout at least 3 days a week and I usually workout more in the warmer months when I can walk or run outside, so my sneakers get worn quite a bit. Since we will be heading into springtime soon, I am eyeing pairs of mostly lighter colors and floral prints!

A few pairs that I linked are from DSW and they are offering a great deal right now through 2/27. Use code REFRESH to get $10 off when you spend $49, $20 off $99, or $60 off $199! The terms say not valid on select Nike products, but I had a few Nike pairs in my cart and the code just worked on all of them!

Hi All!

Today I wanted to talk about one of my favorite items in my closet: it’s the J.Crew Tippi Sweater and I own approximately 7 of these sweaters in a rainbow of colors! I’ve accumulated these over the years because I really, really love this sweater. And I’m not the only one – it definitely has a cult following and it was even talked about on Jeopardy! a few years ago when a contestant wore a different Tippi sweater every day until she lost! The following are my top reasons for loving this sweater:

Hi Guys!

Today I am starting a new weekly posting segment that I am calling Friday Finds & Favorites! For this week’s Friday Finds I am featuring five items of varying price points. Some of them are on sale this week and a couple of them are just low-priced! Each week I might pick a theme or choose a specific category of products to feature, but for this week I picked a mix of clothes, shoes, accessories, & beauty products! I own a couple of these products and a few I would like to own! 🙂

Good Morning!

I don’t usually post too much on the weekends, but this weekend is your final chance to redeem Old Navy Super Cash, so I wanted to do a little roundup of the best stuff from their website!

To be honest, I’m actually fairly disappointed in their springtime rollout thus far. It is really zzzzzzzzz. Yawn, so boring! There is probably still a couple of weeks before they release the rest of their spring line, so hopefully they get some cuter, more vibrant spring/summer looking items! It is, however, a good time to stock up on basics and there are a couple of new pieces that I will be using my super cash on! So let’s get into it! (Also, if you do not have any super cash to redeem they are offering 20% off with code SWEET and they have a bunch of items on sale!)

1 Tunic Sweatshirt – Items like this are what I’m referring to when I say boring, but it is a good basic to own! I think the olive green and oatmeal are the best colors.

2. Striped Swimsuit Top – I love the top of this bathing suit. I’m not super into the bottoms, but they also have them in a regular bikini bottom style here.

3. Basic Coffee Tee – I can never have too many of these.

4. NBA Sweatshirt – Let’s go C’s! I love a good sportswear fleece lined sweatshirt.

5. Striped Sleeved Hoodie – The pop of colorful stripes on the sleeve gives this casual hoodie an updated, springtime feel!

6. Luxe Tee – I own several of these tees and they are super comfortable with a relaxed fit and the material is so soft!

7. Grey Joggers – This is my favorite style jogger that they currently have out. I’m hoping more sizes come back in stock.

8. Raw Edge Jeans – Lighter wash jeans are perfect for warmer weather and I really like this updated style with the raw edge.

9. Black Leggings – Old Navy has made it so easy to pick out leggings by breaking them down into different categories. These fall under “street leggings” which I take to mean everyday wear, not just for working out. The reviews are really good and I’m thinking of purchasing!

10. White Jeans – These are already in my cart! I feel like I need a new pair of white jeans every year because no matter how many times I bleach them, after a while they just start looking dingy and it’s time trash them. I love the button fly style too!

11. Black Joggers –  I own these sweater joggers in 3 different colors and they are definitely a favorite of mine! Super comfortable.

12. Black Dress – This black, jersey dress is one of the best things ever to come out of ON. This dress is so great for so many reasons. 1. You can wear a regular bra with this dress. 2. It’s super lightweight since it’s jersey material, making it perfect for hot summer days when you HAVE to wear a dress for some occasion. 3. It’s a flowy, swing style which makes it quite forgiving in the waist, so that you are not concerned with overeating at dinner, a wedding, etc. No one will even notice your post dinner pot belly! 😉 4. They usually offer it in a few different colors, but I typically stick with basic black because it’s easy to dress up or down depending on what shoes and accessories you pair with it. If you get one thing from ON in the next few weeks or months, make it this dress. I don’t think you will regret it!

I also forgot to add to my collage, but they have restocked this camo tee!♥

Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!

Hello All!

Since Valentine’s Day is only a little more than a week away I wanted to share my favorite V*day themed items! Some are cheap and some not so cheap, but I like to showcase a wide price range of items. I also love to wear red or pink and look festive on the days leading up to Valentine’s Day (because I’m cheesy like that) and I just think it’s fun! Some of the items listed are things that I would buy to wear and some are things that I think would make great V*Day gifts! Let’s get to it!

Hi All!

I hope everyone’s work week is going by quickly! I was online browsing the other day (big surprise) and I noticed that J.Crew is already out with some really cute springtime pieces! I scanned them over and made a little collage of my favorites. I don’t know about you, but just looking at brightly colored springtime clothes makes me happier. I love winter and winter fashion, but I’m always excited once the temps start warming up. Each year I love to add some new spring styles into my wardrobe like these!

Leopard Cardi $128 (on sale for 25%)

Leopard is such a fabulous print year round! This cardigan appears to be slightly lightweight making it purrrrfect (sorry, I had to) for when that warmer weather finally comes around! 😉

Crystal Earrings $65

I LOVE THESE. I’m all about hoop earrings and crystal embellishments, so you put the two together and I am seeing all hearts! ♥♥♥ The hardest part for me will be trying to decide whether to buy the multicolor or the classic crystal. Decisions, decisions.

Yellow Raincoat $120

Wearing a brightly colored raincoat just makes a lousy weather day so much better! This yellow one is sure to garner looks and compliments alike! It also comes in 8 other fun colors!

Pink Mocs $148

How cute are these driving moccasins?! They are offered in a few other colors but the pinks are really screaming springtime to me!

Fanny Pack $128

To be honest, I really haven’t been huge on the fanny pack trend. I do own one, but it’s from the Hunter for Target collection and is very sporty looking, so I use it mostly for exercising outside. This one from J.Crew is a great fashionable option and I love that you can get it monogrammed.

High Rise Jeans $89.50

I’m loving that button fly jeans are showing up everywhere lately! I need to get a pair and I love that these are also featured in a high rise and lighter wash which is perfect for wearing in warmer weather.

Pink Side Button Sweater $128

The color blocking and side buttons on this sweater make it so adorable!  It is totally making me think of pink marshmallows and I love it. It’s a cashmere sweater and if pastels aren’t your thing, it is also offered in grey.

Tweed Jacket $248

I’ve always loved tweed jackets, and I especially love this one with the subtle multicolored threading. It’s really a beautiful jacket, but way too expensive for my budget! J.Crew runs tons of sales all the time, but sadly I would need this to be 70% off in order for me to pull the trigger. But it’s still a gorgeous springtime piece!

Overall, I would say my favorites that I definitely want to order are the earrings and the jeans. I love the sweaters and coat, but I just got a new raincoat last year so I think I will hold off! What are you loving?! Let me know in the comments!

Hi All!

It’s Wednesday which means we are halfway through the week! 🙂 Today I’m sharing what I wore over the weekend in anticipation of what was supposed to be a “big snowstorm.” It was a total bust with mostly wind and rain BUT on the upside, I do have a new pair of snow boots that are still in pristine condition just begging to be used! 🙂 I had been eyeing these Sorel wedge boots since the fall and kept trying to find them on sale. They are a little bit cheaper on Amazon, but I could never find a true sale and eventually caved and ordered them from Zappos. I ordered a few different sizes to make sure I was getting the perfect fit since they are expensive. I would say that they run true to size. I ended up sticking with my usual size of 8.5, as the 8 was just a little too tight in the toe box. The 8.5 is a little roomy, but that’s good in case I ever want to wear really thick socks. I love the wedge on these winter boots since it makes them a bit more fashionable!  You can wear them all the time and not look silly if it isn’t actually snowing out! Zappos offers them in a bunch of different colors and I love ordering from there because they offer free next day shipping and free returns AND when you do return, they credit back your card once UPS scans the return label which is so nice that you don’t even have to wait for the merchandise to get back to their facility before being credited! A+++

Hi All!

I haven’t posted much this week because I went out over the weekend in Boston and have been trying to catch up on sleep! You know you are getting old when one late night out with minimal sleep throws you all off for days! 😉 But today I’m back with an outfit post featuring my latest bag from MZ Wallace – The Large Metro Tote!

Since I’ve been reading blogs for several years, I first discovered MZ Wallace on Bows & Sequins blog where it was featured in a plaid print! It was sooooo cute and of course sold out quick and they have yet to come out with another darling plaid print since. I have been stalking MZ Wallace and their products for a few years since then and even featured their Medium Metro Tote on my women’s gift guide! They only have two physical store locations in NYC, but they are sold at a few department stores as well. I’ve looked over their products at Nordstrom a few times and the Medium Metro Tote is definitely a great everyday tote bag, especially if you have a long commute and need to bring several items with you. Their bags are super lightweight and the quilting is double stitched for extra durability. I wanted the Large Metro Tote because I wanted the bigger size to use as more of travel tote versus an everyday bag. This tote is offered in eleven different colors and I was eyeing the dark blue color, but ultimately went with classic black for compatibility with all outfits and luggage! 🙂 The cost is a little pricey, but I’m banking on it lasting me years so it should be worth it! It also comes with three different sized pouches to help keep you organized!

Outfit Details:  Jacket  /  Scarf (old) similar here /  Pullover Sweater  /  Jeggings  /  Sneakers  /  Pouch  /  Tote

This all black ensemble is basically what I wear every. single. day. Any version of Old Navy elastic waist Rockstar jeggings are my best friend because they are more supportive than leggings but are still very comfortable! They also only cost $20 – $25 because they are always running a sale!

The pullover that I’m wearing is by Barefoot Dreams and it really IS a dream!! I’ve had multiple people comment that it looks very cozy on and it IS!! It was on sale before Christmas for 20% off and I am so happy that I purchased it because I wear it at least 3x a week. Their items are a bit on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for and this is definitely a quality item. Anytime that I’m just at home I’m usually wearing this pullover or it’s within arm’s reach in case I get a chill! It’s super warm, but not bulky and it is a casual fit. I purchased it in my usual size small so it runs TTS.

My sneakers are a platform, slip on style by Steve Madden and I loooove the fact that platform sneaks are back!!  I’m all for anything that makes me taller 🙂 I would say these run a little small, so you may what to size up or try on in store!

I also scooped up this large pouch from MZ Wallace. I’m pouch obsessed and I love this one in such a fun print! It’s also perfect for using in the Large Metro Tote! As I was linking it, I just saw that they added a new navy blue color to the in stock selections! love!

I hope everyone has a great day! Let me know in the comments if you have any questions!
