Hello All!

It’s Wednesday & we are slowly moving through the week!

I wore this outfit on Monday when it was almost 50° degrees! I just couldn’t help myself. It was such a bright, sunshiny day and I had to bust out with a dress for work. I get tired of wearing pants over and over again all winter and needed an outfit change, so I was so excited to wear a dress!

Hello All!!

I hope everyone is super excited that it’s Friday!! I’m super excited because they said it’s gonna be 43° tomorrow!! Whoot Whoot HEATWAVE Yeaaah

Anyway! Today for my Friday Finds post I am sharing a bunch of great items that I found to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, which is next Sunday, 3/17!

One of the reasons why I like St. Patrick’s Day is because there is never a shortage of dumb, clichéd sayings on t-shirts! Remember back in the day when literally EVERY girl had to own or wear this shirt?! I was always reaaallllyyyy annoyed because it was trendy and I’m not Irish AT ALL and really cannot even wear it and pretend to be since I don’t look Irish AT ALL and I never wanted someone to accuse me of faking it or asking “Oooo really you’re Irish?! How much? 1%?!?!?!” Therefore, I never wore it and sadly by the time Urban Outfitters was ever going to come out with a “Everybody loves a Portuguese Girl” tee, they were surely going to be played out by that point!

This shirt was Everywhere

Anyway, now that I’ve fully covered how ubiquitous Irish culture t-shirts have been in society over the years, today I am bringing you what 2019 St. Patrick’s Day apparel and accessories look like!

Just an FYI that a few of the t-shirts I’m listing are in men’s sizes. To be honest when it comes to graphic tees, there are many a time that I prefer the wording on men’s shirts over women’s. They are typically just funny and less cutesy, dumb kind of funny which is what they put on a lot of women’s graphic tees. Which is frustrating and lame, but you know what?! I won’t go on a rant today, I’m just going to say that maybe this will change soon. The women’s movement has made a lot of strides, but as a frequent shopper I still see a lot of phrases on clothing that are a bit sexist I’m tired of it.

And now onto my selections!

Four Leaf Clover Sweatshirt $22.88

I’ve never ordered from this site, but they have some really cute items for pretty cheap and a bunch of codes to save even more! This sweatshirt looks cute and cozy!

Dee Brown Tee $24.99

I want this tee! Baseball style tees are one of my favorites and I love the pop of green on this one. Bust out your green Celtics jersey for St. Patrick’s Day!! It’s really one of the only acceptable times that this is allowed in public (besides, like, at an actual game!)

Kitty Kat Tee $9.99

Bahhaha this tee is great! Especially with the picture of the cat with the hat on. I wish I could insert emojis on this, because I can’t stop giggling!

Long-Sleeve Green Tee $19.50

I added in a couple of basic green colored tops because this is probably what I would wear out on St. Patrick’s Day! These J.Crew tees are one of my favorite basics to own! They are a substantial material and very versatile.

Take a Pitcher Tee $9.99

Another gem of a tee from Target!

3 Pack of Lucky Scrunchies $5.99

I really just like the extra sparkly one because it makes me think of this scene in Legally Blonde! Luckily!

Ready to Paddy Tee $12.00

So cheesy, but I would probably wear this to go out! But more like I’d have to have a couple of drinks, then go put this on!

Lucky Socks $2.00

I mean, at the bare minimum, wear some festive socks!!

Green Cami  Regular Price: $49.00 – Currently 30% off @ $34.30

I own a couple of these camisoles and they are a nice material and can be worn on a variety of occasions. If you don’t want to waste money on a shirt that you will only wear once on St. Patrick’s Day, then buying something like this is great because you can wear it again and again, whether it’s to work with a blazer or out on the weekends!

Let me know if you do anything fun for St. Patrick’s Day! I hope everyone has a great night and weekend!

Hi All,

I hope everyone is having a good week!

I wore this outfit last week and snapped a quick picture because I wanted to talk about one of my favorite prints: camo! I’m really into this trend because I love a fun print and because olive green is one of my favorite colors to wear and I like that camo incorporates it in a different way. It’s been in style for a few years now and I’m happy that it is still going strong! I own a camo jacket, sweatshirt, and a bunch of t-shirts, but I’m thinking of adding the camo pants that I linked below to my camo collection!

I think some people are hesitant to wear camo because they think it looks much too military or is too bold, but it’s really not. I would recommend wearing it the same way that you wear leopard print. Using my outfit above as an example, I was wearing a camo print jacket so I toned down the rest of my outfit with basic neutrals (ie. a white tee & jeans.) I added a leopard print belt because it is a such a small amount of an additional print that it works and doesn’t make my outfit look overly busy. Mixing two large prints at one time can be tricky, so I would not recommend wearing camo print pants with a leopard print sweater!

If you are still thinking that camo print is too much for you, then perhaps you might like the camo print shoes that I linked below – they are really cute and a great way to incorporate the trend in a subtle manner!

You can shop any of the below images by simply clicking on them!

Caslon Jacket $47.40
Steve Madden Platform Sneakers $49.95
Target Tee $8.00
T-Shirt Dress $89.00

Sweater $89.50
Booties $99.90
MZ Wallace Metro Tote $225.00
Target Leggings $14.00

Are you into camo print too?! Let me know what you think of this trend in the comments!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

We got a little mini snowstorm here today and it inspired me to browse for snow boots because I figured there are probably a lot on sale now that we are nearing the end of the winter season. I started googling and found a bunch of good ones! I’m sharing a few of the ones that I found below – simply click on the picture to get the full item details! This is a great time of the year to get really good deals and stock up on winter shoes and apparel!

Hi All!

So Happy March, I guess?! I actually kind of hate March and would venture to say that it’s my least favorite month. It’s just so long, windy, and cold. BUT that’s ok, because Spring is coming AND I’ve got some new Friday Finds to share! So let’s get into it!

Under $15:

Auden Icon Full Coverage Lightly Lined T-Shirt Bra $14.99

I’m always on the hunt for good underwear and bras and I’m so excited for this new Auden line at Target! It’s available for order online this Sunday, 3/3, but I already looked over some of the product in store this week. The underwear section is super cute and very Victoria’s Secret inspired, as all of the underwear is neatly folded in little pull-out drawers. To be honest, some of the underwear didn’t look like great quality especially considering that the price tag was something like $5 or $6 per pair. However, the bra selection looked really good considering the vast majority of them are priced at $14.99! I picked up this T-shirt bra and have only worn it for one day so far, but for the price I feel the fit and comfort level are really good! An added bonus is that you can also switch up the straps to be racerback style!

Under $30:

Old Navy Super Long Open Front Heavyweight Sweater $19.97 & $29.97 depending on color selection

All sweaters are on crazy sale today at Old Navy both online & in store. This kind of open heavyweight cardigan is so great this time of the year with all of the weather fluctuations! The in stock selection online is a little spotty, so your best bet may be to find this in store. Also, Old Navy is offering an additional 30% off and 40% off for cardholders with code THANKYOU (ends on 3/3!)

Under $50:

Steve Madden Feather Loafer Was $69.95 now $41.96!

I posted about these loafers sometime in the fall when I did a shoe review! I have been stalking several colors of this shoe and they never go on sale so I am definitely scooping this one up. The plaid makes it look a touch more fall/winter appropriate, but I will make it work with my spring time wardrobe as well! These are super comfortable, but either order your regular size or go up a half-size for additional comfort! I found they ran a touch small.

Under $75:

Marc Jacobs Small Leather Wallet Was $95.00 now $56.98

Perfect little on the go card case or for throwing into a larger bag! It offers a key ring, a few card slots, and an ID slot. I love the bright colors which make me excited for spring!

Splurge of the Week! Under $250:

Karen Walker Super Duper Strength Sunglasses Was $250.00 now $212.50

These sunglasses are a blogger cult favorite and the usual pair that I wear are a black knockoff version that are from Amazon that cost a fraction of the price. Amazon offers a dupe pair in tortoise, but I felt that they were ugly and looked cheap so I promptly returned them. The real Karen Walker sunglasses are great quality and such a pretty tortoise color. Now is the time to scoop them up for 15% off while Shopbop’s sale is going on through tomorrow, 3/2!

That’s all for today! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi All,

Today I wanted to talk about the most ubiquitous belt trend around and that is the Gucci G belt. I remember talking about this in the fall when there was an article that I posted on my blog about the number one item flying off the shelves. I had linked a few other belts that looked a little similar and were probably design inspired by the original Gucci belt. I own one them from Nordstrom here.

Hi All!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

It’s super cash redemption time at Gap and I’ve got $120 in cash to redeem by tomorrow, 2/25! I’m not certain that I will actually spend that much money to use it all up, but I have been perusing the website and adding tons of stuff to my cart. I’m currently up to a cart total of a mere $590! Oops. I guess I will have to get that down quite a bit, but my point is that they have a lot of great stuff out right now, especially for transitioning into the spring season! Most of my favorites I have added to the above collage and below are the corresponding links & details!

Note: If you do not have any super cash to redeem, Gap is offering 30% off all orders with code LOVEIT through tomorrow, 2/25!

1. Mix Fabric Tunic Top $27.00-$36.00 Comes in 6 different colors

Great, versatile top that looks easy for layering or for wearing solo! I also really love this Mix Fabric Hi-Low Striped Top.

2. Fit & Flare Dress $63.00 Also comes in navy, coral, & green

I love dresses like this because I feel that overall they are really flattering to most body types. Plus, a fit & flare style dress like this in navy blue is a safe bet to wear anywhere. Whether it’s a wedding, baby shower, work event, meeting, etc., navy blue is always a good color choice and I think this dress is a winner. I like the other colors that it is offered in, but I don’t love the horizontal seam line on this dress and I think it’s too noticeable in the lighter colors.

3. Modern Plaid Blazer $109.97

I’m basically in love with most jackets and blazers sort of fall into that same category. I just feel that adding a jacket or blazer adds SO MUCH to any outfit and I’m always really into it! Since I’m a total sucker for almost any plaid, I’m definitely loving this blazer. I think it’s great for work or for going out on the weekends with ripped jeans, a white tee, & heels.

4. Mid Rise True Skinny Ankle Jeans $63.00

Gap makes some of my most favorite jeans. In my opinion, they offer great fits and washes at pretty affordable prices. I’ve been searching for a new pair of darker denim skinny jeans and these just might fit the bill.

5. Cheetah Print Loafers $71.99

How cute are these?! I’m majorly lusting! So perfect and probably very comfortable!

6. Utility Jacket $81.00 Also comes in olive, khaki, & navy

Every woman needs a classic utility jacket for the spring season. It’s the perfect little jacket for those still chilly evenings and works with nearly every outfit!

7. Block Heel Sandals in Black Suede $39.99

I added these shoes because they are such a good deal at only $39.99! I have a similar pair last year from Gap in a lighter color and they very comfortable and perfect for slightly dressing up any outfit.

8. White Denim Jacket $63.00

A white denim jacket is so versatile, especially in the spring and summer months! I had a really similar one from J.Crew that I only just threw out a few weeks ago. I had owned it since 2005 and I felt that I could not get this slight dingy look out of it anymore, no matter how many times I bleached it – it had lived a good life and was ready for the trash. Which means that it’s now time for a brand new one!! Yay! 🙂

This black denim jacket is also super cute and I have been eyeing it for months!

9. Sky High True Skinny Ankle Jeans with Secret Smoothing Pockets $72.00

I have not yet tried any jeans from Gap with these secret smoothing pockets that they are touting, but I’m very interesting in trying. I love the hem on these and the casual vibe it brings.

10. Graphic Pullover Sweatshirt $30.00

You can never have too many of these comfy sweatshirts which are perfect for lounging around or running a few errands in your super cute gym clothes!

11. True Soft Ribbed Duster Cardigan Sweater $59.99 Also available in oatmeal

I put the black color of this sweater in my collage but I actually really looooove this duster in the oatmeal color. I just couldn’t find a stock pic showing it alone and not on the model. However, the model totally sold me on this sweater, I think she looks so cute and I want to wear this exact outfit of all white with this duster! Except I feel like where would I wear this exact ensemble?? Maybe a restaurant in the summer if they had the A/C on full blast. Regardless, I love this and think it would be perfect for throwing on in the office or anywhere else!

What are you loving?! Let me know if you have any questions on any of the items I listed!

Happy Shopping!

Good Morning!

Today I decided to do a quick athleisure outfit post. I ordered this sweatshirt and leggings from Old Navy a couple of weeks ago when I could redeem my super cash from all of my holiday ordering. I wrote this post (check it out – a lot of those items are on sale now!) sharing what some of my favorite current items were from their website and ordered a couple of them, including what I’m wearing here!
