Good Morning!

I had the best Saturday ever last weekend! I managed to get over to Nordstrom on only the second day of the Anniversary Sale AND I was there for roughly 4 or 5 hours browsing and trying on shoes & clothes!! AND then I hit up the Nordstrom café for a fancy frozen coffee drink AND THEN I stopped at Chick-fil-A on the ride home because I had really worked up an appetite from all that shopping!! lol

It was basically the greatest day ever!

So with that being said, of course I took a bunch of fitting room selfies to share and go over what I found to be some hits and misses of the sale!

Like I said, I was there for 4-5 hours and that was only shopping in the womens section and shoes. I reallllly take my time when shopping!

First up, I always park by the entrance closest to activewear and sleepwear so I went through that department first. I had a list about a mile long of 30 different items that I wanted to either try on or look at in store and I basically had it memorized and managed to find almost everything that I wanted to see!

I started in activewear – grabbed a bunch of things and immediately hightailed it to the fitting room – I had business to get to! So let’s get into it!

This Women’s Nike Sportswear Essential Crop Tee (Regular Retail Price: $30) was a surprising favorite of mine. It’s cropped, so it’s on-trend, but not ridiculously short. I loved it!

I’m wearing the Zella leggings with the cropped top and if you need new leggings then I highly recommend this pair! They aren’t see-thru and I wear them at least 2-3 times a week and I maybe get a new pair every two years or so. Definitely quality leggings!

These Women’s Nike Sportswear Essential Fleece Pants (Regular Retail Price: $60) are probably my favorite thing that I purchased! So, so soft and comfortable! A++++

I posted this picture on Instagram of a bunch of leopard print items that I bought at the sale:

The sweater cardigan, unfortunately is sold out online, but I managed to nab the last one in my store. Which I was so happy about considering that I had ordered it online and then got an email saying that it was canceled off my order due to it being sold out. UGH.

The leopard print cami pictured is this Women’s Bp. Lace Trim Satin Camisole Top and this is one item will continue to bump in and out of stock on their website. If you stalk it enough, you should be able to end up ordering it some point as they receive returns. They actually had a good amount of them in store, so you may have better luck there. I just wore it yesterday:

OMG this sweatsuit is EVERYTHING!! The cropped hoodie (Women’s Bp. Crop Hoodie) is actually still fully in stock online and they did have a bunch of them in store. For some reason it seems like they received way less of the matching pants and they sold out online really quickly and in store there were only 3 pairs! Both pieces super cozy and really soft with a fleece lining. I felt like a combination of Snooki and maybe the Nanny named Fran and I love it!

It also comes in camo print! I’m wearing a small in the hoodie in these pictures, but I actually ended up swapping it out for a medium to have it be a little longer and looser of a fit.

Next, I tried on this Women’s Topshop Supersoft Stripe Crewneck Sweater and I really liked it, but not enough to purchase at that moment. It is really warm and I loved the different colored stripes. I found it ran true to size and I’m wearing a small.

I had high hopes for this jacket. It’s the Women’s Thread & Supply Fleece Lined Quilted Utility Jacket and it’s only $58.90! It is fleece lined so it’s really cozy and warm, but I found that it also added an element of bulk to the coat which I didn’t like. I also wished that it came in some better colors – all that is offered is grey and a dusty, light pink. I tried the grey on in store and it ran true to size. Ultimately I didn’t get it because I felt that I already owned something a little too similar to justify the purchase, but this is definitely a worthy purchase if you are looking for warm fall jacket that won’t break the bank!

And now just a couple of snaps of items I saw in store that I liked. Not part of the sale, but isn’t this dress so cute? It’s only $45! I found it online here: Women’s Love, Fire Cross Front Sleeveless Jersey Dress. It’s super bright and an easy dress for a summertime party or even to wear to a casual wedding!

The bright pink and navy quilted bags are from MZ Wallace and are so fun and bright for the summer!

Next up:

There are always a good amount of coats in the sale and I quickly tried on this one.  The Women’s The North Face Miss Metro Ii Water Repellent Hooded Parka is on sale for $239.90 which is a great price. This coat was super warm and I thought it might look bulky on, but it really didn’t. It was cute and definitely a great coat that will keep you toasty! If you need a new winter coat, then check out the Anniversary selection here!

Then I went to the women’s section where a lot of pieces were already sold out, but I did try on this Women’s Madewell Patch Pocket Pullover Sweater. It runs true to size and I’m wearing a size small in these pictures and it is still fully in stock! I love the fall stripes on this one and it was really comfortable.

I tried on the sweater with these Madewell Jeans which I actually found to be a miss for me. They are mostly sold out online, but they will keep popping up as returns come in. I personally didn’t find that they fit me correctly, they gapped in the waist but fit fine in the hips and thighs. The wash and rise I loved though!

I managed to find the Women’s Madewell Ryder Cardigan  in store and it was super soft and cozy. Definitely cute and easy to throw on  for the upcoming fall season!

One other item I really loved but forgot to take a picture in are these Women’s Bp. Long Sleeve Rib Tees!

Fits TTS and for $18.90 it’s an excellent fall staple for layering or for just wearing by itself as shown below!

Ahh and now finally a delightful treat!

Delicious Nordstrom Caramel Frozen Coffee!

That’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed my fitting room diaries!

On Friday I will be posting a round up of my favorite shoes & accessories still available since the sale will be open to the public that day!  Be sure to check back then!
